Who Should do Pilates?
Pilates is for EVERYONE!
All bodies can benefit from practicing Pilates. When first starting it may take a few sessions for the mind and body to connect however be patient, and persistent and your ‘AHA” moment will come. Your journey will be challenging and fun. Pilates is great for a wide range of clients which include:
Rehabilitating clients recovering from disc conditions, hip or knee replacements, and shoulder reconstructions. Pilates will be a great way to rebuild strength and balance to get you moving again.
Sports Pros: Many elite athletes add Pilates to their training program to help prevent injury, and improve muscle recruitment and flexibility. This helps improve your game. I have worked with professional footballers, basketball players, and dancers.
Mature Clients: Staying strong and stable as we get older is important to prevent any injuries or falls. Pilates is a great way to maintain muscular strength, bone density, balance, and proprioception.
Mums: Pilates is great for Mums who need to tone up and get some me time for an hour.

Can I do Pilates if I’m pregnant?
Yes! Pilates is great for pre and post-natal.
Your program will be adjusted throughout your pregnancy journey to accommodate the changes in your body. It is important to discuss any details/complications of your current or previous pregnancies. If you are an existing client and become pregnant, it is important to let us know so that your program can be adjusted accordingly.
What should I bring and wear to Pilates?
You will need to wear comfortable clothing so that you are able to move freely. Form-fitting activewear is ideal. It also allows your instructor to see your body alignment and movement.
Clean socks must be worn at all times. You will need to purchase Pilates/Yoga non-slip socks to work on all the Pilates apparatus.
What is your cancellation policy?
Evolve Pilates Studio has a 12-hour cancellation policy. Full fees will be charged for late cancellations. Exceptions will only be made in emergency situations. You can reschedule your session for a later day in the week subject to availability.
